Have only had the car since 11/07/2022; I have contacted the selling dealer; car was a trade-in on a new BMW, dealer is contacting the previous owners, will update me on what they discover. My only issue with the dealer, at this point, is that the tech who serviced the car may not have informed his manager to determine if there was truly a problem. The car runs well with no odd noises, so we will see what comes up

Assumption, maybe true. Or they had them all lined up at the factory and those with the bad part (my assumption) were identified by the 'message' and replaced in a production line fashion and they just didn't remove the writing. If it really bothers the OP they should get in touch with the factory rep via email and see if they know what's up. I noticed there was also a yellow mark by one of the connectors .... maybe that was the notice that the corrective work has been done (or that was where the 'bad' part was). Being the optimist, if there's no problem/issue noticed by the OP then it's probably OK.
