First make sure you've activated that feature. If it is activated then it's broken ..... I had my mirror motor assembly replaced for the same problem but the dip is so small it's useless and I programmed seating position 3 to match 1 except for a usable dip.

As stated, make sure the feature is on. Next, put the vehicle into reverse and use the mirror control to set the dip position to where you'd like it to be. Many people don't realize that you can set the mirror position to be where you want it when dipped. Same as most vehicles with this feature.

At first that's what I thought as well but have since changed my mind. I only use the dip when parallel parking next to a curb and that doesn't happen very often. For the rest of the time in reverse no dip is better...... like when backing out of the garage or parking spots which happens much more often. To each their own.
