New 2020 Jaguar XF Sportsbrake, good price?
My local dealer has a new 2020 Jaguar XF Sportsbrake Prestiage available for $20,000 off, at $50,000. Is it a good deal? Might I be able to negotiate it down? One alternative would be the 2021 XF, which starts at $44,000, but I kind of need the extra trunk space, and I don’t want an SUV.

I spent 6 months looking for a used Sportsbrake that wasn't black or white or silver, with no luck, so I got the sedan. Fold down the rear seat and you do have a long bed, the same bed as the Sportsbrake. I would rather have had the Sportsbrake becasue I like the look and I might use the extra space some day.
I understand the Sportsbrakes are not selling well. You might offer them $42,000 and tell them to call you when they give up finding a better offer.
You might look at the slightly used ones for sale around the country to compare prices, and show your dealer the ones that are not selling.
I ended up buying a car with 14k miles and the dealer shipped it from Virginia to Nevada for $350.
There is no real answer to your question. If it is payday at the dealer and he needs your money you could do well.
