Well, after more than two years of owning and loving a pristine 2003 XJ8 (53k miles at purchase), today I bought a super-pristine 2013 XF with all the options (52k miles). This car is so beautiful - crystal blue exterior and London tan interior with navy blue trim. I am going to pin-stripe it tomorrow with metallic royal-blue striping.

So, any words of advice or caution from forum members?

Well, first off, you've posted in the wrong forum ! Your car (X250) is the earlier XF made of steel, the current model (X260) is mostly of aluminium and completely different in virtually all aspects except for the style which is very, very similar. Why not post in the X350 forum which you'll find in the "Jaguar Models (Modern) section.
