How many miles have you put on it since battery replacement? Voltage is good both static and charging so you should be good to go. I don't know how this BMS system works if the "low battery voltage" warning has been tripped and if it needs to be reset or it should just reset on its' own after the voltage is brought up. Does the SS work now?

Looks like maxisys. 909 or 919.
Ultra?

Great! I'm curious ..... did the SS work even though it showed the low battery condition message after the new battery?

It might just be imagination but car feels better, smoother. I did save some live data so might have another look to see if there is any difference.

As I am getting ready to do a battery replacement on my 2011 XF, I have been diving heavily into the subject as of late, and between studying several jag forums, there appears to be a inconsistent set of results when people replace their batteries but don't register it. The results range the entire spectrum from everything worked as intended, to I bricked my car and it had to be towed.
More often than not though, most people have reported that it's far better / safer to register the battery, than to take a chance and "wait" for the BMS to sort it out on it's own, as that can take upwards of 6 months or it some cases it may never sort itself out.
Interestingly, from an excerpt in a Jag service manual, if you replace the BMS sensor on the battery cable at the same time with a new one, the new one will auto-calibrate for you.. makes you wonder why it doesn't do that all the time?
Assuming that most people don't replace this sensor, (I'm not planning on it), I'm going to go the safe route and register the battery to the car when I change it. I bought an iCarsoft v2 based on recommendations from other Jag owners, and hopefully that will communicate properly with my XF.
Also fully expecting to have to do all the window / EPB resets after changing the battery.
Should be doing the battery change this upcoming week, I'll let you know.
