Default Problems with new 2021 XF

I just bought a new XF R dynamic less than a month ago. It has a number of problems, briefly as follows:
1. InControl doesn't let me log in and gives me "unknown error" on the vehicle. However, it works fine and shows all the info on my phone and computer.
2. The posted speed limit on the instrument panel jumps up and down. For example, on a small stretch of road with fixed posted limit of 35 mph, the vehicle speed limit jumps from 35 to 50 to 30 to 35 ....
3. The 4G signal showing on the screen is practically nonexistent. Also, there's no hotspot, so what is the 4G signal there?
This is the first and only XF that came to this dealership and they have no idea how to diagnose and fix these problems. What are my options?
Thanks!

Default MY21 issues

We've made contact with Jaguar corporate and we're also documenting really carefully our trips to the dealership. I'd be a lot more upset if I didn't see them reacting to this. Also, the fact that the warranty and support is a minimum of 5 years makes me feel a little bit better. Hopefully I don't regret those words three or four months from now.

My latest news is that corporate has sent me an email saying that I should take the car back to the dealer so that they can "complete the VSS". I don't know what that means and am wondering if that procedure was followed at all by the dealer before I bought it. They had the car for a week last week, prior to my going to corporate. Don't know if it'll be different this time but it looks like I'm back to square one. I'm already regretting buying the car.

My appt for service is on Monday. I'll have the additional info from these discussions and hope this is resolved quickly now that it's being escalated. I'm still hopeful. If they can fix these software bugs, I'm very happy with the rest of the car.

Please keep us posted on anything you find out, and I'll do the same.

BTW: I understand that the 4G is a basic part of the car for factory updates and is standard in all new XF's for that purpose. The 4G "hotspot" is a separate and additional feature and is tied into a subscription feature plan as part of InControl/PIVI Pro. The hotspot access is free for a certain period after purchase; I believe a year. We have had the hotspot function intermittently so we know it CAN work, just like several other features. I think the problems with it are tied to everything else and is included in our "fix" list.

IMPORTANT: Land Rover Defender has had the same system and same issues. See this link to the LR forum. MOST of the issues of remembering drivers seems to persist, but a number of the issues seem to resolve by resetting PIVI. Hold the PIVI power button for 15 seconds to reboot it. I won't be able to test it until this evening. Bottom line: We're not alone!

Re-Setting helped a couple of things. The toughest part was figuring out what was meant by the "Power" button. Hold down the volume/power wheel on the console for 15 seconds or until the Jaguar logo appears. Let me know if this helps anyone.
