Default Restricted performance in the heat

Hi everyone, I bought a used 2011 xf premium about two years ago, with about 77,000 miles, one previous owner and almost flawlessly clean. I love my car, but I live in an area with triple digit summers, and my car has had a recurring problem that when the weather hits high 90s or 100s, it will go into restricted performance mode. If I turn the car off and then back on, I can drive maybe another block or two before it restricts again and it idles very roughly. The check engine light will come on and it will give me P0100 or P0101 codes. I have replaced the maf sensors and the map sensor, and it drove through the winter and spring fine, and started right back up again this week ( the first heat spike in my area). Has anyone else had this problem, or have any suggestions for me? If it helps, most of my driving id in town/ commuting.

You might get a better audience over in the forum for the old XF models. Can you check the inside of your cooling system somehow? Take out the thermostat for instance and look at that to see if there are deposits built up in the coolant channels. There might be some other way to check the condition of the radiator.
I am old school, I don't know nutin' 'bout computer stuff.
