Default Rogue Wiring Connector Socket in Boot

Hi

new to the forum and a new Jaguar driver!

I have recently had work done for a fault with the lane departure warning system.

This morning I have discovered a loose connection block in the boot of my XF X260 to the left of the SIM card module.

could anyone advise me on what this might be for?

thanks in advance

I cannot tell you what it is... however, many harnesses have redundant wires/connectors for options not specified on a particular car. If everything is working as it should be, I wouldn't worry about it.
