I recently bought a pre-owned Jaguar XF MY18 with the 10 inch infotainment en digital display. It also ticks the boxes for smartphone integration (2 USB slots hdmi port and Sim card reader).

I'm very excited to pick it up, and it was promised to me that the car will run the latest software update/upgrade with Android auto and Apple Carplay. However, I just got a call from the garage saying that the software is currently being rewritten due to some error in the software and they want to deliver it without the update that has been promised. They told me that this later can be installed at every certified Jaguar dealer free of charge.

My question to you is if you also have experienced this update lately, and is it true that Jaguar has a problem with software on the XF?

I'm afraid that I will pick up the car next week and later it will turn out to be not eligible for the software.
