Sunroof question
While using the sunroof there is two-stage opening. When I first had the car I thought that the first stage opened or rather just lifted the glass enough so that you can see about an inch of opening. Now I noticed that I can barely tell that it is lifted. I don't know if something happened to the mechanism that opens (lifts) the sunroof as I have had a lot of repair work done on it for another issue.
Short push of button just lifts the glass very little and a longer push of the button completely opens the sunroof.
My sunroof opens correctly but the first stage (lifting the glass) is where I question if it working properly.
Thanks

I wondered the same thing. It wont let much air in. I did check the mechanisms and they seem fine. The wind deflector 'volleyball net' is odd but it must work. Many car makers are using the sunroof sliding over the outside and not under the inside because it doesn't reduce interior head room on these more sleek vehicles. The F-Pace new Jaguar uses the outside (big) sliding roof. Our MB 230 sports coupe had the same system which worked fine.
