Thanks to Covid, I'm putting minimal mileage on my '16 XF and want to keep the battery(s) up to full charge. Anyone have some knowledgeable advice on installing the quick-disconnect Battery Tender leads to the main battery? Fortunately there's a spare grounding connection beside the battery's main ground lead in the spare tire well. What's the correct positive connection site?

If its a quick disconnect i would just go to battery positive and a main ground to the battery. If there's a connection that goes from body to ground directly, that works.

 

Connect it to the jump start posts under the hood and run the wire between the cowl and the hood on the passenger side. You won't have to open anything to connect the charger and it will be out of sight.

 

Already mounted the leads in the trunk but may opt to take you up on the front jumper leads. Would make it easier to access leads with minimal run of extension cord in my case. Thanks a bunch.
