Sorry, I believe no one in this forum will encourage you to disable that because those are part of the safety features. Almost all of the new vehicles sold have those. They are meant in order to annoy you to close the door/s, fasten the seat belt/s, etc. Car makers don't want to be sued because occupant/s in the case of a vehicle roll-over was/were thrown off the vehicle because the door was/were not properly closed OR was/were not wearing seatbelt/s or to any type of accidents. Plus automakers have to follow or oblige on government safety regulations. Perhaps someone have here in this forum can add some more, or correct me to what I just stated.

I agree, same as mine, unless there is an added safety feature on the XF 2022 models which the owner has.
My interpretation to the owner's question is to that annoying safety chime when the engine is on. I remembering replying to an XE owner back in August of last year who wants to disable it. A very common question on this forum. I guess the only solution to this is just turn the ignition off. My Ford Escape on the other hand wouldn't stop that annoying chime when the key fob is on the ignition switch even though the ignition is turned off. I guess the vehicle is telling me, don't leave the vehicle with the key still on the ignition switch.![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
