No button, you just simply remove the 2 screws on your original one and put the button in the plastic one , What you see is a mock up of a old spear i had from an older model with no hole ,so i got one for a 2015 with a hole for $25 and ill mod that like you see, i just wanted a little practice before my good comes ,

Until then I might get a wireless camera for the front.

Sounds like on your vehicles, the front sensors don't work with the aftermarket unit and you only have one video input into the new head unit? Is that accurate?
If it is, you could in theory, get a can bus sniffer and ultimately modify the code. You still need to connect front sensors or dash cams to the aftermarket head unit. So that would require hard wiring to the new head unit (God knows where), or wireless and then coding of the aftermarket system to automate it.
Carlos suggestion is the practical solution. One of the units I looked at supported an optional front camera that connects to one of the USB cables,

As far as I can tell right now, the can bus decoder is only interfacing with what is available on the OEM touchscreen and even there, not everything. Also supports the steering wheel functions but again - the heated sw is an issue. On my XK, Valet mode is gone as is the ability to clear DTC codes.

So my unit came today and after some baffling moments and having to pimp the brackets all is in🎉 just one really big issue and that is the car information panel in the dash is in Chinese although everything else on the unit is in English. So if anyone knows how to change it I'd be very happy 😁

Yep, everything is in English. If you go into vehicle settings where you can change the settings for the heated seats etc, at the bottom there's the option for language, but no matter what I select nothing changes😔

So I've took out everything today and found out the Problem with the Chinese is from the Canbus decoder. As you can see from my video the dash display is in English untill the canbus decoder is plugged in then it goes to Chinese. As Denis is not Having the same issue with his facelift model I would imagine the canbus decoder is defect or it's the wrong one.
