2009 jaguar XF has a code P0016 camshaft position sensor bank one. I’m having a little problem locating that sensor. Anyone have a little insight on where it’s located? Thanks.

 

I don't have the NA engine, but the SC one is similar.

Looks like the sensor is here:




But that's not a very helpful picture unless you recognise any other parts of the engine.

I think its here, but I'm not entirely sure.


More worrying is what the code means:



If the sensor itself failed I would expect a P034xx code.
