2010 Jaguar XFR fuel issue!

Hello all, new to the forums here, hoping someone can help me out.
My XFR decided to stop sending fuel randomly. I had been driving the car around town all day, then later at night while going out to dinner, the car started, idled for 10 seconds, then died. I tried to restart, and got only a small cough then it refused to start at all. I used my crappy bluetooth obd2 reader and did pull a code of P0627 from the system (as well as a pending low fuel pressure at rail code). I cleared the codes in hope it would reset, but it did not and the code is not coming up again. I noted that typically, whenever I open the driver door when approaching the vehicle, the fuel pump can be heard priming, this is NO longer the case!
I feel I must have an issue with either the Fuel pump itself, the FPDM (fuel pump driver module) or the fuel pump relay (from the shop manual it states that the FPDM is powered by a supply from the fuel pump relay in the RJB (rear Junction box)). I have checked the F25 fusein the rear junction box and it is fine, but I am at a loss to identify which relay is for the fuel pump (also can these relays be removed and replaced if they are faulty? or are they built in? If the relay is bad, should i be going straight to fuel pump, or are the FPDM known to be bad?
Could anyone shed some light on this situation for me before I loose my mind further. I have been scouring the internet for hours today trying to find an answer!
Thanks in advance!

The universal retaining ring tool may not work, I found a cheap OEM one that fit perfectly, make sure you got a 1/2 breaker bar handy because that retaining ring is on real tight.
