2010 XF Xenon headlight swap/replacement

Hey all, just wondering if anyone could answer my question.
I have a 2010 XF Premium with stock bi-xenons. 6 years in the California sun has battered the headlights and even after several professional headlight restores they are dull, cloudy in the corners (common) and I want to replace. I can get a brand new pair of oem non xenon for 500$. Would it be a total bitch to retrofit as I believe the wiring harness are different. Or could I just swap the internals and ballasts and possibly projectors. I don't care if I lose the bi xenon function.
Thank in advance your your comments/suggestions- Nick
For some reason one can fine 2012 and up hid-led headlamps for cheap on ebay but the 09-11 xf headlights are at least 650 $ for a decent used pair.

Just get one of the 3M headlight restoration kits. they really work well.
Do NOT just get the bottle of plastic polish, that does not work on hazy lenses.
The multipart kit is what you want.
be prepared, after you use the first step you are going to panic a bit and think "omg, what the hell have I done!?"
but, keep going and you'll end up thinking "wow, I was going to spend a bunch of money to replace these??"
