Default 2010 XFR Battery Drain

Hey folks, first time poster. I bought a 2010 Jaguar XFR March of 2018. At the time of purchase, it had 100,000KM on it. The used dealership, which was somewhat reputable in higher end vehicles had replaced the battery at the time of purchase for me, and for the most part up until the winter time ( Toronto, Canada ), I drove it daily so I was unable to possibly notice if there was a battery drain present. Come winter time after having it sit for a week, it died completely. I figured at first I left a light on or something of the sort, and boosted it, drove it fairly often again and same issue after having it sit for a few days. I eventually just parked it for the winter, and replaced the battery in the spring. I left it untouched and it lasted 5 days before completely draining again with new battery. Nothing has been plugged in and I've made sure all lights are off. It is now to the point that if I don't start it in the morning, and in the evening, it will drain the battery to the point that it won't start. The alarm and everything will still work for a couple days, just not enough juice to crank over. Just curious if there is something specific I should be checking prior to taking it in to a mechanic. I'm an HVAC mechanic by trade so fairly handy, and have amp proves and multimeters if need be. Only thing to note at this point, is the trunk light is completely disconnected, and the left front turn signal is intermittent as the housing is a bit loose. Not sure if any of that would cause an issue but just thought it should be mentioned just in case. Thanks for any insights or tips you can offer before taking it in to the dealership.

I found this in an earlier post. There is a software update the dealer can perform that addresses battery drain.

The other thing you can try is totally disconnecting the battery. Waiting a couple of minutes and reconnecting. On some vehicles if you use the OBD port with any device and it doesn't disconnect properly the car won't go into its 'sleep mode' and continues to drain power. The devices they use to do annual vehicle inspection can cause this. If you disconnect then reconnect the battery it can reset the issue

Would also have the codes pulled to see if any internal issues that are not apparent

When I had my Bentley GT, there was a thread on the B forum where a fellow member found that his boot/trunk lamp was staying on.
He found it by setting his mobile phone to record then leaving it in the boot/trunk when he shut it. Hey presto, problem sorted.
It's worth a try at least. Good luck.
