I'm on the hunt for a 2010 XFR but have only been able to drive an '11 Supercharged. I noticed the LCD between the gauges was full color but from the pictures I'm seeing of the XFR it doesn't look that way. Looks like white/red only, not the pretty full color I saw.

True or false?

 

I have a 2010 XF Portfolio, my LCD is monochrome with a red or orange backlight for warnings and errors. All other displays are black and white. I suspect the XFR is the same. The full color showed up in 2011 or 2012, not sure which. I do not think it is possible to upgrade, too much electronics behind it.

 

2010 XFR display is monochrome with red alerts.

You can choose between blue and "white" or grey and white.

The XJ offers full colour and a TFT instrument display as well. This latter is coming to everybody soon, the new Alfa Giuliettas Dodge Dart has one!

 

Change to the center LCD was in 2012. My 2011 XFR is monochrome.
