Great job and great write up!

It is my hope that many will come to realize that some dealerships are merely comprised of parts changers that have no real interest in diagnosing the problem properly. The service departments have one agenda and that is only to get the car repaired as soon as possible with the least amount of time spent finding the real problem. As an end result, thousands of dollars are spent due to unnecessary repairs. Most car owners are intimidated by the computers and electronics in modern automobiles. And because of that, they are afraid to make simple repairs and diagnosis themselves. Internet forums like this serve to keep the dealerships in check and provide a wealth of information to those who chose to do some of the repairs themselves. Proper diagnosis by the technicians at the dealership can be better accomplished if the car owner can better communicate to pinpoint where the actual problem lies. So having some knowledge through the use of the forums could greatly save on the overall expense of maintaining and repairing your car.
