Default 2010 XFR Rear Brake Change

So it's time to change the rear brakes again on my 2010 XFR. I did the fronts myself and it was probably the easiest brake job I've ever done. Dealership was going to charge me almost 2 hours labor @ about $110-$150 per hour, it took me less than an hour. The dealership said they had to do the rears because they need to calibrate the e-brake so I paid them to do my rear brakes last time. I recently found this write up on how to reset/calibrate it yourself so I was thinking of just doing the rear brakes myself to save the money. Just wanted to see if anyone else has done this and if so if what you experienced?

It says to just pretty much disconnect the battery, wait a minute, reconnect then apply the parking brake so it can reset itself. I feel like that's so easy it's almost too good to be true! The dealership uses their fancy machine but I'm fine disconnecting the battery and resetting all my car setting (would take 5 minutes) verse paying labor rates.

Anyone done this themselves yet? Here is the link for the write up I found

I've done the procedure myself after changing rear pads. It worked just fine. God love those lying *******s!

Default Go to the FAQ in the XF HOW TO SECTION

I have a very comprehensive procedure. I did it for the Forum on my XF SC, which has the same brakes as the XFR. Please review. Show be no problem.
