2011 Jaguar XF Coming in June....
#5
Are they making substantial changes? If not then maybe if the new car is coming in June the 2010's should yeild good deals. MY XF Premium was sold to me at a "fire sale" price of about 6,000 under sticker, plus the dealer gave me 4 new Blazzak (sp)winter tires.
Not only am I thrilled with the car, but the deal wasn't bad either. Excuse me, I am going out to listen to the exhaust note.

I would say the only reason to wait would be if you were concerned about reliability for a first year powertrain setup. But from personal experience, I must say that I am impressed. At my dealership we've sold a ton of these cars, and there is almost no substantial warranty work at all.
I have sold 1 water pump on one of these DFI engines... not one single other mechanical part that I can recall since they started producing them!
I notice far more mechanical problems with the newly released Porsches and that's saying something.
So, no matter what you decide I think you'll be happy.

I got a pretty good deal at Rosenthal's in Tyson's Corner. My buddy got a 2010 XFR for 65K. I opted for the 2011 model so I could take advantage of the new warranty.

Guys
I just got my XF Supercharged from the dealer in Columbia for just over $62 (they gave me $1k rebate because I had lease I had on my old car - they WON'T tell you about that unless you ask!) and it was a sticker of almost $69. Plus in MD you don't have to pay the $400 state fees like VA -- it's only $100.
I dealt w/ Gary over there and he was just awesome -- he worked his *** off for my sale. I know they have 2 over there now that are Ebony w/ a Charcoal interior.
You should check them out -- there pretty laid back over there and don't do the pressure sale like Annapolis, Chantilly and Tysons. Guys in Hunt Valley have the same laid back style, but don't come close on price.
Either way it's a GREAT car -- whether it's an '11 or a '10. I would have got a '10 as they were selling for about $6k less plus most of the dealers were adding Select Edition Warranty at that price. I just could not find my color combo...
