Hi All,
Hoping this forum can help me locate the source of a coolant leak on a 2011 Jaguar XFR. This car is a joy but I am constantly chasing coolant issues ever since taking ownership last year. I have replaced the water pump, thermostat, and connector hose from reservoir tank to the thermostat already and seemingly can't make it through a tank of gas without topping up the reservoir or smelling burning coolant when parked. This morning, under the engine bay I noticed coolant spray in the pictured as described below. Anyone know which hose might be the likely culprit? Front Right (US Driver's Side) coolant spray next to airbox.
Have you replaced the bad plastic coolant pipes when you changed the water pump?
We have TONS of threads on this problem on all the forums. An easy search will find them.
A big suggestion is to upgrade to the Aluminum coolant pipes instead of the crappy factory plastic versions.
You need to pressure test the car when cold and find the leaks.

Thanks. It turned out to be the integrated thermostat housing that failed and was spraying upwards. Luckily, as I had just replaced the same part less than 12 months ago, the part was warrantied and a replacement was sent for free.
