Default 2011 XF Pricing

Dear fellow enthusiast,

I am getting closer to making a final decision on an XF and wanted to see if anyone can give me some pricing guidance. I know this might sound tacky to some but there is nothing worst then feeling that you’ve been taken advantage of. Therefore, I apologize in advance and appreciate your advice.

How willing is Jaguar to deal?? According www.edmonds.com the Base XF MSRP is $52,500 (invoice $48,300), XF Premium MSRP $56,500 (Invoice $51,980). Prices do not include delivery charge or taxes. Also, when will the 2012 XF come out?? Are there any additional features on the 2012 that far exceed the 2011 model??

FYI – when I filled in an online questionnaire at Jaguar International - Market selector page, I received an email from the local dealership offering $500 worth of upgrades (i.e. pin strip, floor mats, etc.) if I purchased before the end of March (not going to happen) - end of April, possible.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

In my experience they are very willing to deal. I can only go on pricing for the XF SC, But I just talked to someone today that is in the market and went to my local dealership and they told him to wait until April to buy or lease as apparently Jaguar will be "aggressively" discounting via incentives in April. I think a lot has to do with the dealership, and if your going to buy or lease. Hope thats helpful, sorry I cant give you exact pricing info on the premium as I did not negotiate the pricing on that model. Good luck!

When we looked to purchase our 2011 XF in December; Jaguar had very attractive lease terms on the base model. The local dealer was really trying to guide us into that model. But when I compared the equipment levels of the base versus the premium there was no way I was going to buy the base model. I asked for a similar deal for the premium, but they would not offer the same lease terms. The additional equipment on the premium was well worth the additional cost. $4,000 at list. We called around and were able to find a dealer who would honor that same lease terms on the premium. It took awhile but the deals are out there. If you are looking to lease, the manufactorer will often change the lease terms.

Good luck, you'll love the car.

Ditto with Billsblue73. I got the 2010 XF Premium with base lease package. It had all the bells/whistles. I would have liked the B&W stereo upgrade but that combo was not around. I love the car. May have to try the XFR next time around. Last time I took the XF in for servicing I was given the XJ as a loaner. What a beautiful interior. A little long for me - but wow.

P.S. Dealer also lined up 2.9% financing on my 2008 LR2 which I decided to buy off the lease as I only put 30k miles on it and the buy back was below auction price for it. A very nice package deal.

I just bought a 2011 XF premium with portfolio on Saturday. I paid $5 over invoice including destination charge, and didn't have to try that hard. In hindsight I think I could have done even better. The 2012 model will be shown at the New York Auto show on the 22nd of April. There are supposed to be minor changes to the look of the car.

I have purchased many different cars from several different dealers. IMHO, You always get a better deal if you do your homework first. I use several different web sites to build the car that I am interested in (not only Builders site). I then take the average plus the true inventory price. From that I choose the price I want to pay even before you walk through the dealers door. Don't budge from your set goals. Your money will spend else where. Remember that their job is to get the most from you as they can. Most dealer are more willing to make a deal that you want if you appear educated both about the car your interested in and their lease/purchasing programs. Always let them know that you have choices.. If they really want to deal, they will work with you. As far as prices go, Your area in which you live as well as trim level/equipment on the car plays a part, so its will be difficult at best to give you a good idea price past MSRP.
I've used (cars Direct, Kelly Blue Book, Motor trend, and Edmunds) Just to name a few to get my figures.
The 2012 should be out around September/October if memory seves correct.
Good Luck!

Default XF Pricing

Bought a 2011 XF Premium last June (delivery) ordered in February for $1,000 over invoice with options (B&W, Rear Screen, Optional Paint/Interior color). The dealership jumped on the deal.
