As Executive mentioned, the choice is really up to you. That being said, let's see if we can help focus your perspective a bit.![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
First off, what can you tell us about those 38k miles on the SC version? If they were obviously highway miles (the car looks like new and you'd never know it had 38K if it weren't for looking at the odometer) then it matters much less than if the car looks like it has 38k (or more) miles. Being that it's only an '11, I would guess they're highway miles.
How long are you planning on keeping the car and how many miles do you drive a year? If you drive few miles a year and plan on keeping it for awhile then the miles don't matter as much, IMHO. If you want to trade it in after a year then the better resale for a lower mileage car might be preferable.
One other thing to note is that the SC not only has the extra power but significant other extras like upgraded 20" wheels and tires, B&W sound system, heated steering wheel, power rear sunshade, etc.
Personally, I paid the extra bucks (around $12k) and went with the SC when I got mine a year ago (a year and one week to be precise!
). I wondered when I got it if I would regret spending the extra $$ but I can honestly say that I have not regretted it in the least.
I look at it this way. A car is a consumable item. It's like buying a beer. The first 1/3 of the beer is the best since it has a nice head and it's ice cold. After that the foam is gone and it starts to warm up. It's not "bad" but not as nice as when that nice, frosty mug was set down in front of you.
Consequently, the best part of car ownership is arguably in the first part of its life (disregarding restored classics). The Premium would be an almost full nice "domestic" beer whereas the SC would be a 3/4 full Guinness. Either way, you'll have a nice beer but I prefer the Guinness!
Gee, now I'm thirsty!...
HTH and good luck!

I would get the SC, but I am biased. I love the power and the dynamic suspension feature. Drive with it on at all times. The non-SC had too much roll and bounce when I test drove them. I would actually like less body roll in hard corners even with the dynamic suspension. What is your preference in driving. If you can find a SC with less miles would you pay a bit more?
