Default 2012 Jaguar XF

My 2012 Jaguar XF with 28,000 miles, the engine died at stop light and the would not start. The a/c vents flip, screen turns on. The engine trys to turn over and once did start but dies when take foot off brake. Thoughts?

Is the MIL on and if so, what DTCs are stored in the system?

Does the vehicle have fuel pressure?

Has any work recently been done to the engine, ignition or fuel systems?

Did the vehicle run hot, or did you hear any abnormal noise(s) prior to it not starting?

What road and weather conditions were present and what type of driving?

- nothing showed on dash -- code etc. just read exclamation mark.

Does the vehicle have fuel pressure?

- Not sure. I just purchased 2 weeks ago.

- Not that I am aware. Just purchased.

- Did not run hot and heard no noises. However, 2 days ago the Check Tire Pressure came on then went off. Did this 3x and each time was a different tire. Not sure if related.

What road and weather conditions were present and what type of driving?
- I was in the city on a city road and sunny and 84 degrees.

I assume you mean red exclamation mark?

What is the voltage at the battery terminals?

I bet it's the battery crapping out..

That does it...I'm getting mine changed this month..whether it needs it or not...while it's still under warranty.
