2012 Supercharged Purchased Used - Xzilon and Safe-Guard Questions

Hi Folks,
Decided to sell my 2009 XF Prem Lux for a 2012 Supercharged. Declined most of the aftermarket car stuff, but did get the Xzilon and Safe-Guard tire protection...at least for a few days to assess if it's worth it.
In the process I learned a few things. In California you are entitled to pro rated refund for the unused Safe-Guard (state-specific amendment fine print). My dealer didn't even realize this, or so they said. So I'm getting a refund per Safe-Guard on the '09. Maybe that's good news for other owners too, check it out! Don't know if I want to add the warranty to my new (used) vehicle because the cost has basically doubled since when I purchase it for my old car (same dealer). Dealer was amazed I got that price 3 yrs ago. Price went from $795 to $1600 for 5 years coverage. In the 3 yrs I had the other service I only fixed a leak, $60 they honored, so no big claims ever. Is Safe-Guard worth it for 5yrs at $1600? Live in Los Angeles, drive under 10k per year...
For the Xzilon, $280 bucks. That's much cheaper than I usually see it. The value I see in it is the interior guarantee for stains- claim to replace if something can't be removed. Exterior enhancement is marginal to me since I like personally cleaning and waxing my car. Also, the dealer messed up my paperwork on Xzilon, they checked the 5 yr under 35k detail instead of the 3 yr over 35k (car had 40k when purchased). Suppose I could hold them to the fire if I tried a claim after 3 yrs, but that seems less than a sure thing. On the '09 I didn't do the Xzilon, the quote then was $450. Is it worth doing at $280 now? I'm neat, but I do have 2 small kids that are only getting messier, god love them.
I did also add the Jaguar 6yrs 100k extended warranty. Purchased from the Jag dealer w/o CPO. Car has 40k, 1 yr of platinum left. Extended is good through 2021 or 100k which works for my driving mileage. I didn't by the extended warranty for after the CPO on the old 09', that was sort of a mistake and part of the reason I upgraded (was facing some maintenance not covered and wear and tear costs were imminent).
Anyhow, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Thanks. Obviously they raised and lowered trade in value vs new purchase price vs warranty cost to make their #s work, but ultimately it ended up being $3000k. The first quote I got for it was $4500. Overall I feel like got a better deal this time vs my '09 purchase. I gave them a trade difference # they'd need to meet ('12 resale price + warranty - trade in). I was pretty fearless with the number, because I was ready to walk and suck up repair costs (on my '09) unless I got what I thought was a great deal. I like my service and sales team at the dealer. 3K is good right, it's basically $500 a year for me?

I think the extended warranty will be a benefit if you want to sell the car before warranty runs out. Selling a used car privately will be easier. Not sure about the interior protection as no one gets in my car that would likely spill anything. $280 doesn't sound like a lot of money, but my wife's suburban has endured a lot of kids without serious damage. Does it cover damage to wood finishes and headliners? Headliner stains from little fingers worry me.

If only leather is covered I'd likely skip it unless you have the very light colors and kids are not in check. $1600 for tires only seems like alot. The 20 inch oem Dunlops on my SC are $400 plus each, so 4 tires would need replacing. What's your experience with needing tires replaced?

1 yr of Platinum warranty left. The extended jaguar branded warranty (not jaguar select cpo) lasts until 2021. Extended warranty started with the purchase so it is doubly covered for the year of Platinum has left.
Aftermarket rims is a helpful suggestion, almost like a potential makeover vs insurance to relplace. Might be nice to mix up the style if rim damaged happens.
