2012 XFS 3.0d with AWD
I have a stupid question. I just bought a 2012 XF S 3.0 V6 diesel and the guy I got it from did not mention once that the car had AWD. Topix says the car has a 8-speed Automatic AWD transmission and if I'm honest the car feels different in corners than the BMW 640 that I drive.
Where would I go about testing if it's AWD or not?

I'm fairly sure there is no such thing as an AWD 3.0 diesel XF and the AWD is/was always petrol, at least for the X250.
But if I am wrong and there is such an animal as a 2012 XF 3.0 diesel AWD then the easiest way to tell for sure is to get underneath, remove the front plastic under tray, and check for front drive transaxles and transfer box.
