2015 XF 2.0 making whistle noise when window down?
Hello, Everyone
i have been noticing some noise issue with 2015 XF 2.0
it's making whistle noise when window down near side mirror area...
have you guys notice any kind of noise like what i am experiencing?
we contacted dealer and they just brush off and saying it's the design....
and they won't fix or do anything to it...
i only had car for few month and i am slowly getting me mad by this and ho w jaguar and dealer is handling this.
anyone having same issue? any resolution for this?
any input from you guys will be appreciate it.

Mine does this on both sides. The dealer put out a service bulletin that used double sided tape to fill the gap that is the source of the sound. I have tried it myself but just a rush job on a nice day. It helped but I'll have to go back and do a better job with more careful cutting and fitting soon. I hear you on the going crazy thing. It's awful.

i have it on mine when i don't roll the window down all the way. Sorry, i don't see how this is a problem the dealer would be able to fix. MAybe i am missing something. I just either turn up the stereo or roll the window down all the way. raising the moonroof up also helps. i guess for me its not that big of a deal. Hope you figure out how to make it quite when the window is down.

Kind of hard to describe but the gap is where the body that holds the mirror meets the part mounted to the car itself. If you fold the mirror in, you'll expose some of the area that needs to be filled with the tape to close the gap. I can drive along with it whistling and simply put my index finger there and the sound goes away. It's definitely a random problem shared by multiple Land Rover/Jaguar models as I've also driven an Evoque that did it too.
