65000 mile XFR any big bills coming up?

There should have been a major service performed around 60,000 miles. Check to make sure that was done. If not, I would walk away from the car as the previous owner, in all likelihood, did not follow a proper maintenance schedule. That said, you can call a local service center or independent and find out what they charge for that particular service. Otherwise, it's pure speculation what could fail within the next 10,000 miles or even 35,000 miles.
Check the dash facia to see if it is delaminating. Replacement will cost you about $1800 if you simply can't live with a ripple or two. The Voice Activation will most certainly not be working. Jaguar had a number of "complaints" from customers on the early XF's about the system and thus "deactivated" it. They are supposed to be working on a fix, but I think the solution is a phantom one that they hope will fade away as the early cars drop out of warranty.
They used cheap fasteners under the hood for the fuse box, engine cover and cowl. If they are missing then it will cost you a few quid to replace them. The overhead reading lights have a tendency to come on and off for no reason. Usually a faulty or dirty switch and the mic(s) associated with the Bluetooth/Voice Activation tend to fail as well. Mine was fixed under warranty, so I can't give you a quote (Voice Activation might not work, but you should still be able to talk hands free via Bluetooth).
There have been some reports of the gear selector giving problems and maybe a few trim pieces on the early versions, but I haven't really run into anything like that on my XF Supercharged, only the damn felt thingy under the dash keeps falling down onto my feet. I still have to investigate that one.
It's an expensive car with a lot of gizmos. Things are bound to fail and Jag service, just like BMW or Mercedes service is not cheap. I would recommend the CPO warranty if it is available.
Good luck.
