Decided to go see mom in the middle of the week to avoid the Cali "Weekend get a way" traffic. VEGAS WAS BURNING AS USUAL! I saw momentary temps of 120º while sitting in traffic.




This was the MOVING freeway temp..lol




Note the average speed, this was over a 236 mile distance, Traffic was VERY light and me and 2 other car were ROLLING! only saw 2 CHP's on the SB side (I was headed NB) and 1 NHP who already had a trucker pulled.




And who says a 5000lb 500+hp car can't knock down decent fuel economy at high speeds! Again this is over a distance of 236mi..

Jag did this one RIGHT!

 

Ha I'm just en route back to LA from Vegas.. Its 113 outside just got on the road and it says 17.6 as of now.. I hope to catch up with your numbers

 

I got up to 22mpg, guess I have a lighter foot than you do...

 

We ended up getting 22 also.. Much better than todays 12 around LA..

 

So Eco mode is worth 4.5 MPG?!!!!!!
