Default Another "New" Jersey guy to the forum-XFR

Just bought a 2010 XFR a month ago and I am loving every bit of it. Lunar Grey w/ London Tan.

It definitely drives a lot different than my previous daily driver which was a Chrysler 300C SRT8. I loved my SRT8 and performance was about the same but everything else is clearly much better in the XFR and rightfully so. I have been on car forums for the past 12 years and I look forward to seeing this forum grow with more enthusiasts like ourselves.

A few pics below.........

Default Gotta love it ...

Welcome to the site ... I have the exact same configuration for interior and exterior colors. Does yours have adaptive cruise? I HATE that option!!

Mine is already put away for the winter ...

Nice! Mine has the adaptive cruise, all 2010 XFRs came with it standard. I actually like it even if I don't use it rarely. I would love to put it away for the winter but the Cobra with drag radials is a lot worse in the winter.

Default Jersey guy here with an XFR too:)

I bought mine a week and a half ago (black with London Tan)..I love the car.
We should meet up sometime soon.
Do you get a lot of looks? I certainly do in the Northern Jersey area...haven't seen any XFR yet around

No doubt we should. I can't say for sure if I get a lot of looks or not. Real car enthusiasts definitely take notice, but the avg. joe has no clue what kind of car it is.

I know I don't get as many looks as my Cobra, but the Cobra's exhaust is nasty and the supercharger spins 18k a minute under wide open throttle so people have no choice but to look

The XFR and the XF supercharged are the ultimate sleepers. I haven't seen many XFR's around either which is why it is so appealing.

Beautiful car!! That Ian Callum really has a great brain. Imaging taking an icon and transforming successfully .. again! I guess having worked at Aston Martin helps as you see some influence here from AM. But I feel this looks better than the AMs.
Great Car. Period.

Wanted to ask you a question...This is the second time that I get a "Adaptive Dynamic Fault" error on my dashboard...the first time was due to the heavy rain we got last week but it happened again this morning.
Once you have this error message, the car is very stiff, very bumpy ride because it default the car setting to the sportier mode.
Can't figure out what is happening with the XFR..did that happen to you by any chance as well?

Thanks
Samy

I have not had that occur, so I would take it in for service. Only thing I have noticed is my heated steering wheel seems to not get hot when I put it on. It's a sporadic issue so I will just keep an eye on it.

Johnny Vig- Congrats! I posted on Samy's thread before that we, New Jersey XFR, owners, should definitely get together. I'd be into it. I live in Northern NJ, and XFR's are rarer than Lamborghinis, Ferraris or Astons up here. No joke.

Sporadic faults may occur from time to time. I wouldn't be too worried about it unless it happens more than 1 time per month or so. I haven't had any problems thus far with the Adaptive Dynamics yet. I would recommend going to Bergen Jaguar, they're pretty good.

I have 20" blizzaks on my car, and am pining to go out and give a shot in this weather, but I don't want to torture the car either . . .
