I wonder if there are any members that have done their own oil change on the 5.0L yet?

 

The engine is set up for pump removal of oil through the "dipstick" tube though there is no dipstick. There is a drain plug though, buy a new one just in case the built in gasket on the old one is not good enough to reuse. Examine the old one and if I seems serviceable maybe keep it to use next time. For the money I would just use a brand new drain plug every time as Jaguar (and now other manufacturers) recommend.
