Welcome to the forum. Just a point of clarification, the V8 is supercharged in XFR form (510 hp)and as The XF Supercharged (470hp) as well as XFR-S (550 hp). Quite a number of XFR owners here, if that's your main interest.

Just purchased my first Jag. 2010 XF-R. The specs are amazing and it may be the best value out there currently. I do however have a sound that we cannot figure out. It may be from the exhaust or drive shaft. Only hear it at low speeds (30mph or less).
Any insight would be greatly appreciated ;-)

Enjoy your new XFR and I agree it's an amazing car and bang for your buck! Can't help with the noise, sorry.

Ive always thought the XFR is the supercharged model of the XF. Sure there might be variants of the XFR, but they all fall under XFR.

To show due respect to XFR owners I don't consider my XF Supercharged to be in the R group, although they are relatives

NOT accurate as previously pointed out. They ALL fall under XF I suppose, but only the XFR and XFR-S are "under the XFR". "R" is a special performance line designation with Jaguar on all of their models and the XF Supercharged (470 h.p.) is NOT an "R" model.

We figured out the noise! It was a missing shim between an exhaust hanger and body. Love the sound!!!
