I drive a 2011 XF and just bought a new Apple 6S Plus and can't get the car and phone to pair in bluetooth...the prior Apple 5S worked fine

Check you have the latest iOS updates etc. try a hard phone reset and try again. It does work - so maybe a gremlin in your setup
Have you managed to pair the iPhone BT to anything else?

As another datapoint, I have an 09 XF SC and an iPhone 6S. Initial pairing was giving an error and in fact locked up the nav unit hard enough that the screen would stay on even with the ignition off. I disconnected the battery and tried again. 2nd time was a charm and touch wood, it has been working with no issues.

Default Thanks

I should have mentioned the new phone has paired with my 2007, MB SL550 with an aftermarket Kenwood DNX892.

Timfountain, you mentioned disconnecting the battery...the car battery?

I do have the latest iOS, 9.1 on the phone.

I'll reset phone and am at the Jag dealer tomorrow AM on another issue...wanted to know what the real world was experiencing

Thanks to others who confirmed it works with other XF's
