Default Audio "Source" not cycling through properly

Hi everyone,

I wasn't able to find any existing threads discussing this particular problem with the XF (specifically a 2011 XF S/C), but I do apologize if I overlooked it. I'm running into an issue when I attempt to cycle through my audio sources using the "Source" buttons (both the one on the center console and the one on the steering wheel). They will only cycle through Radio - FM1, FM2, and AM. I can no longer access the Sirius stations, CD, USB, IPod, AUX, etc. using the buttons - it just goes from FM1 to FM2 to AM and then back to FM1. Not a huge deal, since I am still able to access all audio sources through the touch screen interface, but it just sucks not to have one of those creature comforts that I've grown so accustomed to using. The problem just occurred a couple days ago (no idea what might have caused it), but it doesn't seem to be going away. As far as I can tell, no remedies out there on Google... so I was just wondering if anyone out there has encountered this before, or if you guys have any suggestions on how to fix it.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions that you're able to offer!

Mine does the same guess its some setting. The entertainment system in these cars is just bad compared to the competitors

And another one here - are you guys saying that at some point the source DID cycle through all the inputs but now it doesn't? Or that it never did? Just bought my car 2nd hand so it's always worked this way before.

Mine DID cycle correctly for the first few months I owned the car, but suddenly stopped working. Sounds like it's a common problem.

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 min. to reset the system. Similar to a PC reboot when it starts to act quirky.

Also try hitting the source button TWICE when you come to Sirius before moving on…..this keeps the rotation going thru the source selection…works for me (BTW….I do not subscribe to Sirius)

Ask the Jaguar dealer about TSB, this problem solved by updating SW of head Unit
