LOL

The 440W B&W Surround should be sounding pretty good already, the same system in my LR2 cranks it out, although it's a different subwoofer arrangement in the Land Rover.

Yes I can't really complain, I've never got the volume higher than about 30% and when you're stationary at lights, I'm very impressed with the sound stage.

I was thinking of upgrading the LR3 to the HK 7 at some point but am too lazy to add the extra speakers in the rear doors at the moment....

Who would one go to in order to upgrade from the 325 Watt Meridian to the higher powered surround system? An independent Jaguar shop or an audio shop? I am in Minneapolis and the dealer is certainly not interested in this process.

Alternatively, any suggestions on adding just a center speaker in the front, fed by a mix of the stereo channels? Might be easier and cheaper than reprogramming the car (or maybe not).

Also, any suggestions for fixing the issues related to buzzing of speakers? Seems to be related to frequencies related to voices. We changed our some speakers under warranty and that did not help. The dealer fiddled with door clips and that helped for a while.

Final question; any reasons why playing the phone through the car can introduce a lag between video and audio? I can fix this by an overkill trick; feeding the iphone to an external DAC (using the Apple CCK). Just feeding the audio from the phone to the external audio input still introduces a lag sometimes.

Thanks!
