Default Auto-folding mirrors

Has anyone been able to get this actually work? I've tried setting my mirrors as stated in the manual and it doesn't seem to do anything.

From page 96 of the manual:
Automatic folding
The mirrors can be configured to automatically
fold when the vehicle is locked and unfold
when unlocked.
Note:
If the mirrors were folded using the
switches, they will not unfold when the vehicle
is unlocked.

To select or deselect automatic folding:
1.
From the touch-screen Home menu, select

Vehicle.
2.
Security is displayed as the default menu.
Select
Parking. Touch the arrow icon at the
bottom of the menu to scroll down the list,
until the screen above is displayed.

3. Select Mirror fold back - On or Off.

Thats a frustrating things about the owners manual, at least for my base model 2011. The manual describes the operation of of features that my car does not have. Folding mirrors are one of them. As are voice activated commands, the ski pass through in the rear arm rest....

One of the reasons I bought a j spec instead of a US spec. Can't really park comfortably without the folding power mirrors.

Yeah, but your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.

I hate to admit to all the hours I spent trying to find the garage door opener and the blind spot warning do dad.

I don't understand why they just didn't keep them on the J spec. Not that I miss them but I like my gadgets.
