Mr. Bollocsk:
" The battery location is STUPID in the JAG"
You sir, are dead wrong. The battery location, for you, may be inconvenient, but there are several good reasons for the placement where it is.
1) Heat lessens battery life. Under hood is hot.
2) Weight balance is good. Most cars are front heavy and moving it rearward helps balance.
3) At least in my XFR, there is too much engine in the engine bay for a big battery to fit.
There are a number of inconveniences associated with a real high performance car. That is why so many pseudo sports cars are sold.

[QiUOTE=Long Islander;619411]After sitting idle for two days, my car had to be jump started today. Ten days ago, it sat idle for three days and had to be jump started.
Back in August, same thing after sitting for 2 days. Right after that, I took it to the dealer and they said the battery and electrical system both tested fine.
Today, I took it to the dealer again and they said everything was fine, but they'd keep it overnight to check it again tomorrow.
Just over a year ago, after another couple of dead battery incidents, I took it in and they did the software update to make sure the infotainment system was turning off when the car was turned off, so that's no longer the problem.
Any ideas? This is a bit of a bother.

I had the same problem recently. I noticed the light in the push button panel stayed in where you see the navigation, etc. Make sure the light is off when parked. It solved my problem.

He even posted the TSB. Please print it out and take it to the dealer when you go to get it fixed.
.sorry i did not read the entire post. I was just glad to find a solution to my problem, and thought i would share is. Thank you.
