Default Been putting in some work on the XFR.

Changed all of the following;
Brake pads = EPC Red stuff as the stock pads really suck with the black dust..lol And I had the wheels re finished.
Replaced all the outside marker and interior 190 series bulbs with LEDs
The rear gear lube with Redline shock proof gear syn lube.
The power steering fluid with Redline syn D4
The coolant with Prestone mix with any color Long life coolant
New Die Hard gold Gel cell batt.
Next will be the Trans fluid with Redline D6 gotta make a Vegas run this weekend so I ran out of time.

I've noticed the XF seems to be very robust in many areas such as bolt and screw size. I also like the quick connects for many of the fluid and air lines. But the plastic dual entry intake SUCKS!

I wish the EBC Reds were much lower dusting. What you will find is that they still dust pretty good and you'll be cleaning your wheels almost as often, if you like fresh clean wheels. I have the EBC reds on the front on my Jag XF and the rear of my Lotus Esprit, so I know firsthand. I would say that the EBC claim that their Red pads are super low dust is false advertising.

The only aftermarket pads that eliminate dirty look wheels that I have found are the Akebono. But they only have them for the rear of my 2011 XF and the front of my Esprit. So at least I never need to clean half the wheels, lol. I do have them all the way around for my stretched Lincoln Town Car limo, and it's a thing of beauty to never have to clean brake dust off those chrome rims.

Kirby at Akebono is saying he may have the fronts for the XF by summer time 2015. Since that's not a given, I am going to try some other ceramic pads that hopefully can deliver the same results of the Akebono's. My next shot in the dark attempt will be with these pads that I will put on this weekend:

I know the Porterfield R4-S brakepads have been getting solid reviews from Lotus owners for great street/track performance as well as low dust, and it looks like they are available for the XF/XFR. I have not tried them myself yet, but I plan to when my stock pads wear out.

I am about ready for new brake pads and not sure which ones are best.
Thanks for the input.
