Yup, that's what i was talking about. I'm pretty sure it's around $500 for the grill. Someone else on here picked one up. It's the same price as the normal chrome one I believe.
Here is another thread on it: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-grille-61804/

Yeah, and the damn thing is PLASTIC. At least it could be metal.

Front/Top mesh grill...
Yeah, I was kinda bummed to learn that the upper front mesh grill wasn't metal.
For my previous car, Grillcraft® - Genuine Sport Grilles - Welcome made aftermarket grill kits made out of powdercoated meta. Since they used my car for their installation photoshoot, I got a free grill kit out of it! They lose their luster after a few years since they are at the front of the car taking all that abuse from daily driving.
Unfortunately, they don't have anything for Jaguar right now. If enough people keep asking for XF grill kits, they might be convinced to make one hehe.

Not a bad idea, but IIRC from my days putting together plastic models, paint won't stick to the chrome plating on plastic unless you sand it off. To get it all off would be next to impossible with a mesh grille. If you don't remove the chrome first, the paint won't stick and just flake off and then you will have a fairly ugly looking grille. Maybe the primers have improved or there is a newer process these days, but worth investigating before you paint your existing grille.
