Android here. Sony Xperia 3 compact. It's the least reliable and my least favorite Android, but it still works well with this.

I received my tune2air WMA1000, with latest firmware on it (3.23)
It pairs, but I cannot make any streaming app to play more than 2s.
I've tried Pandora, Deezer and Youtube, nothing works on my iPhone 6s Plus with IOS 9.1
The problem is that it does not work even on the phone, if connected to tune2air!
Jaguar XKR 2010

How are you getting it to play? On mine you have to switch to portable audio iPod first on the car. Then press play. Then go to phone and select Spotify or whatever you want to use.
If that doesn't work I'd unpair and delete the pairing. Reset the phone and try again
I have iPhone 6 on mine and it works fine

I was getting mad when I kept trying to get it to play, then realized I had shut off the stereo. That would make it do the 2s play.

Although this is an old thread, in case anyone is researching this I purchased a Coolstream CarPro Bluetooth adapter "for 2011 or Earlier Mercedes" on Amazon for $80. Took just a few minutes to install on the 30pin adapter on my 2011 XKR and pair it with my iPhone 6. I was then able to stream music from Pandora/Google Play/Etc. and all steering wheel and display controls functioned perfectly. I was impressed at how easily this worked out with none of the usual pairing and functionality problems you usually see with these type of devices.
Here's the Amazon Link.

Their add on Amazon specifically states that the steering wheel controls do not work with apps including Pandora/Google Music/Etc. It says it only works with music stored on the phone. Are you saying that is incorrect? I would love to be able to advance/pause/play via the car controls with my Note 4.

Made and interesting observation tonight..my tune2air working as normal all day no problems.. But tonight i got back in the car to go on a short trip and stopped working again..
Everything I tried didn't work.. I did notice that in Bluetooth setting of iPhone it wasn't connected, but this is where it gets interesting.. I tried to go direct to cable (I have an adapter which I used before I got tune2air) - the cable is powering tune2air and charges the phone but the phones iPod still would not dock.
Cannot figure this out at all!
