Brand New XF Premium - squeaking doors....
Just picked up my 2010 premium. After 2-3 days the driver and also to some extent the passenger doors squeak . If I open the window even slightly, it disappears. May be the window upper frame on the door is flexing when the window motor pushes up against it?
This type of issue was also on some 2005-2006 BMW models, and it was the top of the window frame rubbing against the car frame.
Any ideas what to do? I don't want to bring it in for warranty yet, as they will probably start replacing all the rubber gaskets/ weather strips, and maybe start a new problem with wind noise. From what I see on the net. it's not a straight forward solution at the dealer, and may take many visits......

Most common cause of this noise is actually the sunroof. before concluding it is the door frame try opening the sunroof and see if the noise changes or disappears.
Otherwise, use a good seal treatment such as silicone or the Aerospace 303 stuff to clean lube the rubber seals (door seals and sunroof seals are soft rubber) and with one wipe.
If it is the window glass then check that the rubber "wiper" along the top of the door at the bottom of the window is also clean and lubricated with the same sort of stuff. It is trickier to clean this wiper seal as the window glass rests against it even when the window is down.
Or get the dealer to do this!
