c3f40-4a jaguar xfs 2011
Hi guys I've an intermittent fault with my 2011 xfs whereby it won't start at times. Fault code c3f40-4a comes up on my scanner but I'm struggling to find any information on sorting this problem. I know its to do with the immobilizer. Can anyone steer me in the right direction please?
Thanks, Ray

I would use a different scanner as that code is not in the normal format?
With what your working on I think you need to get the car scanned with SDD.
Have you looked at the sticky thread in general tech help? It has a bunch of after market scanners mentioned?
Note you did not tell us what scanner your using?
Post complete car details? What engine? How many miles? What have you done so far? How long have you been fighting this?

OK thanks for the added info!
One problem is you have a Diesel so you must not be in the US?
We are mainly a US based forum and have zero experience with them.
BUT the UK forum is very deep in Diesels and will probably give you better answers?
