Hey, new to the forum and trolled the posts and found one close to my issue, i think: "weak battery..." I posted there but wanted to start a specific thread as well in order to make sure I caught someones attention that might be able to help.

Anyway, car has 1200 miles, is the supercharged model, and was last driven on Wednesday. We went to drive it to church this morning and everything is dead. I can only assume that something drained the battery and they'll figure that out, but to figure out what caused the problem may be a bit more of a goose chase. Unless anyone else out there has experienced this yet and can give me a clue as to what happened and what I might suggest to the dealer once they TOW my new car to the service department tomorrow morning. And that is assuming we can get it started to get it into neutral and back it out of the garage!

Anyway, this is our first jag and i've owned many other brands (we do trade often). I had hoped this would be a car to keep for many years but this isn't a good way to start the relationship! ;-)

I would appreciate any helpful feedback. At a minimum, I'll keep this forum updated on what I learn. Maybe I'm the first, but I'm sure I won't be the last.

battery was replaced- dead cell (?). we traded 2 weeks ago, but with another 600 miles (traded w/ 1800 miles) no issues. this was our only complaint. will miss but was my wife's car and she wanted to go back to another brand/type of vehicle. good luck with the xf. i hope any real issues get resolved for y'all.
