Car&Driver got the new XF engine wrong
There's a brief review of the new XF in the current issue of Car&Driver. They like it, but the got one thing curiously wrong. They claim that the V6 engine is a 60 degree engine and that is kind of strange since they usually are so accurate. I believe that it is actually an AJ-V8 minus 2 cylinders.
But they did note (correctly I assume) that is used balance shafts. It was that note about shafts that I actually noticed first. A 60 degree engine is well balanced (like a 90 degree V8) and therefore doesn't need shafts.

Jaguar - it's not an automobile, it's a Motorcar
Current: '08 S-Type 4.2 "Satin Edition" (250.06 whp / 259.67 torque)
Past: '05 X-Type 3.0/auto Jaguar Racing Green
