Carpet Mats

I'm not impressed with the factory carpet mats that came with my XFR. Definitely not up to the quality of my XJ-S.
Anyone recommend a good supplier for carpet mats to match my charcoal interior? The Jaguar premium mats available in the US don't come in that color option...
Cheers,
- Will

Hmmm, very strange to hear you say that. If someone would have asked me what "superficial" things I like about my XFR that are superior to my previous car (Benz CLS) I would have listed car mats as one of the items (though the B&W sound system would be first on the list). I do remember coming across some attractive mats on a website recently. I'll see if I can't re-trace my steps and get back to you with a website.

The XFR mats are thin. I put my plush XF (accessory) mat into the trunk and was also thinking of getting something more plush for the interior. Right now I have the XF plush mats on top of the XFR ones as it's actually raining in Los Angeles and I want to protect the XFR mats. But I have to agree - they seem so-so. I also got the metal trunk finisher and racing pedals to finish off the car.

I've been thinking of getting the aluminum pedals. They sure look nice.
While driving home today from Tampa, I had plenty of time to mess around with settings. I was not overly impressed with the B&W system up to now. Sounds a little flat to my ear.
I fiddled with the stereo settings and went from DPL II to 3 Channel. Huge difference! I'm much happier with the stereo now! Soundstage is much wider and with more depth. Also the trebles aren't harsh and overdone.

The pedals really finish off the car nicely. I had them in the XF and ordered a set off eBay for the XFR. Jag accessories are cheaper off eBay. Hampton Automotive is the seller. They are a legit Jag dealership. Parts manager is smart and lists accessories for sale on eBay well below what you would pay at a dealer. I also bought the metal plate to finish off the trunk (by the latch). That is a really nice piece as well that I had put in the XF. The accessory I really want but it won't fit the XFR is the mud flaps. Looked great on the XF and prevented road rash.
