Take a look into these. I bought one a LONG time ago, and use it for all sorts of fluid extraction in my garage....such as brake fluid flushing, transmission fluid extraction, and I would imagine, oil extraction on my '12 XJ-L, after the warranty is up.

EDIT....I tried to post two links, from Yahoo sites, but got an error message from Yahoo, for some reason or other. Nonetheless, the tool I was trying to link to, is called the Tempo "oil boy" oil extractor....It's sold by a number of marine supply stores, and is around $60.

I just had my oil changed as part of the 30k service (my car hasn't hit 25k yet but I got there by time duration since last major service) and per the service statement they used Castrol Edge Pro 5W-20. Usually I bring the mechanic / dealer oil that I bought separately to save some cash but didn't this time because I thought they were going to use the SLX dye-infused snake oil. I could have probably picked this up but looking at the price they gave me ($6.84/quart for 8 quarts = $54.72) it actually wasn't that bad at all buying it from the dealer.

Also, there is some kind of promotion going on where if you get an oil change with Castrol Edge Pro you get a free mail in offer for a Jaguar-branded 3 piece BBQ tool set.....hahaha!
