Cheee!! XKR-S map loaded on to my XF S/C
Flashed it, can't really feel a difference. My friend has a dyno at his shop so hopefully he'll have time this weekend to check and see if the flashed actually worked. I've already done a base run at 401 whp. From what my diagnostic machine says, it does state I have the xkr-s map.... so "cross fingers" hopefully it worked.

This sounds to be on par with the XFR. They make it go pig rich in the upper rpms all the time to cool the cylinder walls and such. This is a good and safe thing to do.
I will guess that your 20whp increase takes you into XFR grounds now I would think rather than a XKR-S.
How much did this cost? I bet ifyou needed to go to the dealer for issues or quirks they will be confused on how to flash it as it reads XKR-S and your cars VIN is a XF? Might get a bit hairy for a tech?

I wish I knew, it didn't measure torque and I had to ask to have the a/f recorded. I might do the pulley and flash BigCat has I would dyno again then. The car makes more power then it can use already...need a traction solution first then add power.
Bigcat, true 401-420 hp with a flash is a nice gain! 20 hp probably feels like 100 on the buttdyno.
