Default Climate control panel

Hello, please could you help me understand if this piece, CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL X250 PN: CX2318C858, this was on 2.2d, can it fit on my 3.0d version too? From the photo it's the same.
I can't find any information.
Thank you very much.

Probably yes. They are fairly generic, but check the part number on your existing panel to be sure.

If you have access to the SDD tool then you can dump all the part ID's in your car, otherwise I think you'll have to take it out to be 100% sure.

The panel isn't a complex part so its likely that if you get one from a donor vehicle of the same type and it'll probably work. If I were doing it, I would buy the part from a similar vehicle and try it because they are relatively cheap from your favourite auction site. If when you get the existing one out of car and its totally wrong you haven't lost much (you can always relist the unused part).
