2013 XF 3.0L supercharged. On the passenger (right) side, there is a coolant hard line that ends a bit shy of the air filter. The rubber hose that connects to the hard line connects to some odd plastic connector. I think it may have a slight leak. I haven't removed the part yet, but that plastic connector seems more likely to be the leak source than the rubber hose. The replacement hose (c2z4553) includes this plastic connector, but it seems like overkill to purchase a whole hose assembly for $60 or more once shipping is included. Wondering if these connectors can be purchased separately. Maybe these connectors have a replaceable o-ring?

A photo from another forum thread showing this connector on its hose:
Maybe? I don't see any coolant stains in your picture?
Before tearing into anything I would wait until the car is cold and pressure test the coolant system.
Your leak could be elsewhere?

A little more background. I was fighting some leaks - a small plastic connector, then the thermostat housing, and I thought maybe the double o-ring joint between the upper and lower plastic crossover pipes. But with the removal and installation of that upper crossover pipe, I think the lower pipe cracked at its connection into the block. After pressure testing, there was a bunch of coolant sitting around the oil cooler. So I have pulled a ton of stuff apart, including removing the supercharger, so I could replace the lower plastic pipe that sits underneath the SC. I have replaced the rear plastic crossover pipe, even though it had no signs of leakage. It seemed like good preventative maintenance. Also, at this point, I can't be sure if the water pump, or the outlet pipe behind it might have been leaking, too. So I have replaced the water pump and the pipe behind it. I went with the URO aluminum version of the pipe. When I was threading the main serpentine belt back into place, I noticed the underside of that connection in my original post. It looks suspect to me.
Since the coolant system is currently drained and I already have everything apart, I am more inclined to address that connector now rather waiting until I re-fill the system and then pressure test.
I changed all the hoses on my 2012 reason that same connector crumbled into bits when i was removing it yours is a 13 I think its time to do all the plastic and hose connectors so you don't have a failure when your out on the road
Where did you get the Euro Al. version? I had them marked on EBay but that seems to have died. I got one for me but I have been recommending it for others but I can't find it listed anymore?
Don't know if you have seen this yet? But we now have after market Aluminum pipes to replace the terrible plastic ones! Al. Cooling Pipes

Aluminum versions of those pipes! I don't have it all back together yet, so really tempting to go with those. Thanks so much for providing that.
The aluminum outlet pipe that connects to the backside of the water pump is URO LR028136PRM. I got mine from Rock Auto. An internet search comes back with a bunch of other seller options for the part number.
